Online learning recently is alternative learning at all levels of education. Online learning in mathematics can be done synchronously or asynchronously, such as using zoom or e-learning. However, online learning is still ineffective in improving students' abilities because of its limitations, especially in high-level skills such as mathematical abilities. This study aims to use online learning with STEM-based media to reveal the mathematical skills of vocational high school students. This research method is a quantitative study with a quasi-experimental design, with two sample groups, namely the experimental group and the control group. The subjects of this study were 120 students of vocational high school. The results showed that STEM-based media could improve the mathematics abilities of vocational high school students seen from the whole student or based on the level of group students. Likewise, positive student responses to online learning using STEMbased media. This response means that students feel the benefits of learning online using STEM-based media.
